An Seomra Spraoi offers Play Therapy for children in Midleton, Co. Cork – a warm, welcoming space to explore feelings, express experiences and grow through play.

I’m Anne Cunningham, a qualified Play Therapist. I support children who may be experiencing anxiety, grief or loss, changes in family life, difficulties in relationships, or feelings that are hard to put into words. Sessions are available through English or Irish.

The playroom is located in the infant building at Scoil Bhríde, using the same entrance as Sherpa Kids. Being based on the school campus offers a familiar setting for children. Having worked in the school for over a year, I am a familiar face to many pupils, who know where the playroom is, and some have already attended sessions. For children attending Scoil Bhríde, sessions can usually be facilitated within the school day.

I am very grateful to Seamus O’Connor, Principal, Juliet Murphy, Deputy Principal, all the staff and the Board of Management of Scoil Bhríde for welcoming me and supporting the development of this space for children.

An Seomra Spraoi is an independent service, welcoming children and families from Scoil Bhríde and the wider community. Confidentiality and safeguarding are central to my practice.

If you would like to find out more or explore whether Play Therapy might be suitable for your child, you are welcome to get in touch for an initial conversation.
